Supports metal fabrication production through hands-on process engineering, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, workflow optimization, and manufacturing launch activities. Develops and tests processes, equipment, tooling, fixtures, layouts, and work sequences; drives cost, quality, safety, and efficiency improvements. Collaborates with operators, vendors, engineering, operations, and leadership, while coordinating training and implementation of new or revised products.

Processes invoices, payments, employee expense reports, vendor records, and accounts payable accruals. Investigates and resolves invoice and purchase-order discrepancies, maintains payment records and reports, prepares annual 1099 forms, and communicates with vendors. The role requires accurate data entry, strong organization, analytical problem-solving, and effective workload prioritization in an onsite manufacturing environment.

Evaluates and improves manufacturing processes, systems, equipment, tooling, workflows, layouts, quality, efficiency, yields, costs, and production volume. Manages project timelines and resources, guides Process Engineers I, develops corrective actions and process reports, supports quoting and job costing, and participates in Lean manufacturing initiatives while maintaining safe and reliable production systems.

Lead and maintain quality engineering processes across manufacturing: implement SPC and APQP, perform root cause analysis and CAPA, conduct audits, manage large projects, support failure analysis/MRB, develop quality metrics and training, and apply DOE/DFM/FMEA/GD&T and Six Sigma methods to improve product and process quality.
