Assists with day-to-day management of an affordable apartment community, including marketing, resident screening, rent collection, notices, reporting, agreements, property integrity, and customer service. The role requires accurate bookkeeping, effective communication, time management, knowledge of landlord-tenant and fair housing laws, and the ability to serve diverse residents professionally. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required for occasional business errands.

Assists with daily management of a 144-unit affordable apartment community. Responsibilities include marketing, maintaining property integrity, screening residents, collecting rent, serving notices, preparing reports and agreements, and providing customer service. The role requires bookkeeping, Microsoft Office skills, knowledge of landlord-tenant and fair housing laws, effective communication, multitasking, and a valid driver's license for occasional work-related errands.

Oversee property accounting functions, including financial reporting, general ledger management, month-end close, budgeting support, affordable housing audits, bank reconciliations, internal controls, and AP scheduling. Develop accounting procedures, implement policy changes, mentor and supervise staff, support recruiting and performance reviews, and ensure regulatory compliance and accuracy across the property portfolio.

Lead affordable and market-rate housing portfolios, driving profitability, occupancy, regulatory compliance, resident experience, and client relationships. Serve as the primary liaison to ownership groups, provide strategic insights and performance reporting, oversee operational and financial results, and mentor portfolio managers. The role requires expertise in property management, Oregon and Washington landlord-tenant and Fair Housing laws, labor regulations, and safety protocols, with travel between properties.
