Leads gender-responsive evaluation, inclusion analysis, safeguarding, and qualitative fieldwork across Uganda program reviews. Oversees interviews and focus groups with refugees, young women, and persons with disabilities; trains field teams; manages consent, disclosures, and referral pathways; analyzes disaggregated outcomes; and contributes to reports, recommendations, presentations, and validation sessions.

Leads financial inclusion and MSME analysis for strategic reviews in Uganda. Assesses access to finance, credit use, repayment, savings, enterprise growth, financing mechanisms, and ecosystem-level change affecting underserved groups. Conducts desk reviews, interviews financial-sector stakeholders, supports mixed-methods inquiry, presents findings, co-authors reports, and develops actionable recommendations for inclusive finance programming.

Conduct a strategic review of Young Africa Works programs in Uganda from a digital economy perspective. The expert will analyze digital skills, jobs, gig work, e-commerce, digital financial services, and platformization; interview stakeholders; assess program positioning, outcomes, barriers, and partnerships; benchmark regional strategies; and produce technical analysis, recommendations, presentations, and a prioritized final report.

The Agribusiness Expert will assess Uganda’s agricultural value chains, youth employment opportunities, program outcomes, partnerships, and strategic gaps. Responsibilities include document review, stakeholder interviews, value-chain mapping, evaluation of training and finance and market linkages, policy alignment analysis, and development of prioritized recommendations. The expert will contribute agribusiness analysis, presentations, validation sessions, and final strategic review deliverables for Mastercard Foundation and Young Africa Works stakeholders.
