The role requires strong organisation, time management, collaboration, communication, and the ability to manage a fast-paced workload while maintaining high-quality service. It is based in Edinburgh with hybrid working.

Supports business development and marketing initiatives for Banking & Funds and Technology & Commercial teams. Responsibilities include managing projects, delivering client-facing events, conducting client and market research, and preparing team sheets, credentials, proposals, and presentations. The role involves collaborating with lawyers and partners, managing multiple priorities, building relationships, and taking ownership in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Provide knowledge, training and development for the global funds team; act as a strategic adviser to partners and senior stakeholders; design and deliver training, keep lawyers technically sharp, generate ideas to advance the practice, and collaborate across the team. Open to candidates from funds, banking or general corporate transactional backgrounds.

Advise high-profile UK and international technology clients on commercial contracts, cloud agreements, digital transformation and AI projects, software licensing, outsourcing, web and mobile app contracts, IP licensing, data protection, corporate support, and competition matters. The role involves delivering pragmatic, commercially focused advice on complex, high-value technology transactions while collaborating with specialists across the practice.
