Employee Reviews

Ravi Budigelli

Sometimes we’re right, sometimes we’re wrong — we try to pick the best idea and then make it successful.

Ravi Budigelli, CTO

“You get to have an outsized impact,” according to CTO Ravi Budigelli, “You're not told to stick to your role. Any idea that you have is fair game. Bring it up and then we’ll talk about it and we’ll try it. And sometimes we’re right, sometimes we’re wrong — we try to pick the best idea and then make it successful.”

Leah Freeark

Built In has given me the opportunity to work in multiple functions and on various cross-functional projects. These roles has given me a multi-faceted perspective on our product and led me towards my ideal career path.

Leah Freeark, Product Manager

"When I started at Built In, my role involved reviewing and consolidating data to showcase ROI to customers. Next, I worked with customers and users directly to assist with platform navigation and troubleshooting, which provided valuable insight into the user experience on our platform. My role expanded to include managing our Customer Support team, building out strategic process improvements, beta testing new features, and working closely with our Product & Tech teams. In my current role, I have the opportunity to work alongside our talented engineers and designers as we build out new feature functionality, enhance our existing products, and prepare to launch internationally."

Sandhya Hemakumar

I'm honored to foster a community where challenges are shared, solutions are found, and support is abundant.

Sandhya Hemakumar, Senior Manager, Quality Engineering

“Built In’s vision is helping tech professionals achieve their career goals, but Built In does that for its own employees,” said Sandhya Hemakumar. Since joining the company a year ago, she's been delighted by the autonomy she has to pitch new tools and technologies to leadership. “We move at a very fast pace, so there’s a lot of room for development.” Hemakumar is currently building a new testing strategy that will allow for faster product rollouts, and said there’s been great collaboration between product and engineering. “We worked together in planning a roadmap from the get go.”

Tripp Weiner

Our goal as a company is to be the best place to connect talented tech workers with talented technical companies — but global tech talent isn’t centralized to just the United States.

Tripp Weiner, Senior Software Engineer II

“Our goal as a company is to be the best place to connect talented tech workers with talented technical companies — but global tech talent isn’t centralized to just the United States, right?” said Tripp Weiner. “There are hundreds of thousands of great developers out there, but they don’t all live here. And so by making all the data available to them, we’re helping good tech workers find good companies. We’re opening up all these doors in order to make those connections — and it helps us grow.”
