Own Buildkite’s sales enablement strategy, systems, content, onboarding, training, certification, and measurement programs. Connect enablement initiatives to seller ramp, pipeline, performance, and revenue outcomes. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Brand to launch products and GTM motions, improve tools and processes, coach Account Executives, and establish scalable enablement practices.

Support enterprise customers by resolving complex CI/CD, software, and infrastructure issues. Develop scalable support tools, maintain open-source Bash and Golang utilities, improve workflows, publish documentation, lead customer retrospectives, and collaborate with Product and Engineering. The role also involves mentoring peers and proactively preventing recurring support issues.

Support enterprise customers by independently resolving complex CI/CD, software, and infrastructure issues. Provide technical support, lead customer retrospectives, develop proactive tools and solutions, maintain open-source utilities, improve documentation and workflows, communicate customer feedback internally, and mentor peers. The role requires strong scripting or coding skills, cloud and DevOps expertise, excellent communication, autonomy, and a customer-focused approach.

Own and evolve Buildkite’s open-source CI agent and infrastructure. Ship features quickly, manage production reliability, design reversible rollouts, investigate incidents, support engineers, contribute to the roadmap, and communicate clearly. The role requires strong production ownership and proficiency in Go or Ruby, with opportunities to work across Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, PostgreSQL, React, and GraphQL.

Lead developer experience for an engineering organization of approximately 80 engineers. Own improvements across CI, build tooling, codebase health, deployment paths, and AI-assisted development. Define and measure developer productivity, ship hands-on changes across languages and services, accelerate engineering workflows, evaluate and deploy agentic coding tools, and build cross-team buy-in without direct management responsibility.

Lead Buildkites developer-focused events program end-to-end: set strategy and ROI metrics, build scalable processes and budgets, run flagship events, represent the brand, and partner with Marketing, Sales, and GTM to connect events to pipeline, community, and brand outcomes.

Lead architecture and technical strategy for Buildkite's Releases platform, designing a canonical release model and immutable evidence trail. Build, scale, and integrate release ingestion, policy gates, and progressive delivery features. Diagnose reliability/performance issues, mentor engineers, drive cross-team tooling, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver production-grade release orchestration and governance.
