Own and improve Buildkite’s AWS and multi-cluster Kubernetes platform. Design self-service infrastructure automation, regional architectures, traffic routing, disaster recovery, deployment safeguards, observability, and scalable reliability practices. Diagnose distributed-system issues, operate production systems through incidents and growth, and turn operational learnings into durable engineering improvements. The role also includes architecture reviews, documentation, code reviews, cross-team collaboration, and mentoring.

Own Buildkite’s cloud efficiency strategy by tracing AWS and Datadog costs to technical drivers, building granular cost models, implementing safe optimizations, and verifying realized savings. The role develops attribution, alerting, and cost-visibility tooling; partners with engineering, data, finance, and leadership; and balances savings against reliability, throughput, and customer experience.

Own Buildkite’s sales enablement strategy, systems, content, onboarding, training, certification, and measurement programs. Connect enablement initiatives to seller ramp, pipeline, performance, and revenue outcomes. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Brand to launch products and GTM motions, improve tools and processes, coach Account Executives, and establish scalable enablement practices.
