Leads external affairs for the Brooklyn Navy Yard, overseeing marketing, public relations, internal and external communications, government relations, and community engagement. Manages a small team and external firms, develops organizational messaging and legislative strategies, supports executive communications, builds stakeholder partnerships, coordinates public events, and advances the Yard’s visibility, mission, and community impact.

Manages procurement, solicitation, and contract administration for capital real estate, infrastructure, and operating projects. Builds procurement workflows and procedures, coordinates vendor evaluations and timelines, reviews contracts and amendments, manages NYC registration processes, tracks funding and payments, verifies vendor compliance and insurance, and maintains procurement and contract records in PASSPort, FMS, and Yardi. Collaborates with Finance, Legal, Design and Construction, Property Management, city agencies, vendors, and project stakeholders.

Provide access control, motor and foot patrols, monitor vessels/vehicles, supervise command center communications and video surveillance, log incidents, and support emergency response while delivering excellent customer service.

Lead and manage day-to-day operations of multiple technical workforce training programs; coordinate partners and instructors; launch new initiatives (e.g., EV Charging Station Maintenance); monitor performance and outcomes; manage employer relationships, recruitment, career readiness and placement; support grant management, reporting, and program improvements.

Senior HR leader responsible for enterprise HR strategy, labor and employee relations, total rewards, talent management, HR operations, compliance, HRIS oversight, and advising executive leadership to drive organizational effectiveness and culture.
