Lead and mentor a nursery room team while delivering high-quality care and education. Support children’s development and milestones, promote welfare, health, safety, and safeguarding, and maintain effective partnerships with parents, colleagues, and professionals. The role requires creating inclusive learning environments and applying EYFS, child protection, and related legislative requirements.

Supports babies and children up to age five in a nursery setting through interactive play, reading, activities, and developmental support. Works collaboratively with colleagues and builds trusting relationships with children and parents. The role requires effective communication, enthusiasm for engaging learning, flexibility, and adaptability. Previous childcare experience is beneficial but not essential. Appointment is subject to safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS check.
