Provides individualized academic support to student-athletes through learning strategies, study skills, time management, goal-setting, progress monitoring, and academic reporting. Collaborates with faculty, coaches, mentors, tutors, and athletic department staff to develop support plans, communicate student progress, and address academic and personal needs. Assists with tutor and mentor recruitment, training, and monitoring, while contributing to academic best practices and team projects.

Provide one-on-one and small-group academic and career advising to undergraduate students, coordinate student programs and outreach, manage student employees, gather student feedback, and contribute to professional development and advising leadership across campus.

Support and supervise Student Health Center reception staff: hire, schedule, train, audit work quality, update procedures, serve as point person in supervisors absence, perform reception duties, and identify workflow improvements to maintain efficient clinic operations and patient service.

Provide individualized intake, documentation review, and accommodation coordination for students with learning, attention, emotional, and health-related disabilities. Advise a diverse caseload (~800 students) on course selection, degree progress, graduation readiness, and career goals. Build relationships, evaluate petitions and academic plans, partner with faculty and offices, support students in sensitive situations, and contribute to advisement center initiatives and graduation processes.

Lead departmental IT strategy and infrastructure for teaching and research. Manage 500+ endpoints, physical and virtual servers, networks, and Drupal web platforms. Recruit, train, and supervise student IT staff. Provide advanced troubleshooting, partner with faculty and vendors, and recommend emerging technologies to support specialized computing and research needs.

Design, implement, and maintain on‑premises and cloud platform services (Linux/Windows/OpenShift). Provide Level 3 support, build and operate OpenShift clusters, automate provisioning and configuration (Ansible/AWX, scripting), integrate monitoring/logging, perform root‑cause analysis, improve security posture, consult with campus partners, and mentor student employees.

Coordinate BYUSA marketing area programs, oversee student employees and volunteers, develop marketing materials and policies, manage budgets and events, conduct assessment and reporting, mentor and train students, maintain web and media content, and support department partnerships to advance Student Connection and Leadership Center objectives.
