Leads Brelle’s electrical engineering function, setting technical direction and overseeing electrical architecture, circuit design, power distribution, ECUs, interfaces, integration, testing, validation, and production. Manages and develops the electrical engineering team, establishes engineering standards, drives root-cause investigations, and partners with mechanical, firmware, systems, manufacturing, leadership, and customers. The role requires hands-on technical leadership across complex electromechanical and electrified products.

Leads hands-on battery module and pack design from architecture through production, covering cell integration, thermal management, high-voltage safety, structural design, testing, and manufacturability. Drives engineering tradeoffs, design reviews, DFMEA, DVP&R, certification, and design release. Coordinates cross-functional milestones, sets design standards, guides the battery systems roadmap, and leads a small engineering team through hiring, mentoring, and technical development.

Own the mechanical design and development of battery module components from concept through production. Responsibilities include cell retention, thermal management, safety systems, housing integration, venting, propagation protection, and electromechanical interfaces. Collaborate with electrical, thermal, simulation, and software teams to optimize high-voltage battery packs. Lead design feasibility, requirements completion, FEA-informed decisions, manufacturing integration, and production release for automotive or motorcycle powertrain applications.

As a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer, you'll lead firmware development for embedded platforms, focusing on quality, maintainability, and integration with vehicle teams in high-performance automotive applications.
