Leads architecture, development, integration, validation, and production deployment of embedded software platforms for energy and powertrain systems. Establishes technical direction across firmware, drivers, operating systems, middleware, diagnostics, and ECU interfaces; drives reliability, testing, cybersecurity, and functional safety practices; partners across engineering disciplines; and builds a high-performing embedded software organization.

Leads Brelle’s electrical engineering function, setting technical direction and overseeing electrical architecture, circuit design, power distribution, ECUs, interfaces, integration, testing, validation, and production. Manages and develops the electrical engineering team, establishes engineering standards, drives root-cause investigations, and partners with mechanical, firmware, systems, manufacturing, leadership, and customers. The role requires hands-on technical leadership across complex electromechanical and electrified products.

Leads hands-on battery module and pack design from architecture through production, covering cell integration, thermal management, high-voltage safety, structural design, testing, and manufacturability. Drives engineering tradeoffs, design reviews, DFMEA, DVP&R, certification, and design release. Coordinates cross-functional milestones, sets design standards, guides the battery systems roadmap, and leads a small engineering team through hiring, mentoring, and technical development.
