Coordinates a Hepatitis C program by planning and evaluating services, supervising and training staff, managing community and funding relationships, maintaining quality controls, implementing policies, and supporting outreach strategies. Supports individuals in addiction or mental health recovery by teaching coping, self-care, problem-solving, and wellness strategies. Helps clients establish recovery support systems, articulate personal goals, build community and employment-related social skills, complete wellness plans, and access outside resources. The specialist also models recovery practices, facilitates individual and group support, and provides encouragement and empowerment in a drop-in center setting.

Leads the organization’s human resources function, including employee relations, policy administration, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, training, performance management, HRIS transactions, compliance, employee engagement, reporting, and annual HR programs. Advises leadership and employees on workplace matters, manages confidential information, oversees recruitment and screening processes, administers benefits and training, and ensures accurate personnel records and HR operations.

Leads statewide Criminal Justice Programs, overseeing daily operations, regulatory and contractual compliance, quality assurance, staffing, training, stakeholder relationships, facilities, and program outcomes. The role supervises employees, monitors documentation and performance, addresses client concerns, analyzes program data, and implements improvements across DUI referral, court-ordered DUI, and drug diversion services.

Provide peer-based case management and recovery support to clients in a drug diversion program: teach coping and problem-solving, help set recovery goals, complete wellness plans, make referrals, and model sober living and job-readiness skills.

Lead accounting operations including month- and year-end close, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, internal controls, payroll/AP/AR oversight, audit and tax coordination, indirect cost proposal preparation, and contract interaction with third-party payers. Mentor accounting staff and ensure regulatory compliance.

Provide outreach and engagement to individuals with substance use or mental health histories, maintain caseload, link clients to treatment and aftercare, facilitate wellness and life-skills groups, deliver community presentations, build community partnerships, and travel statewide for screenings and events.

Provide clinical oversight in an outpatient behavioral health setting: review counselor and peer caseloads, approve treatment plans/progress notes/discharges, conduct staff orientation and training, participate in case consultations and meetings, ensure electronic records meet licensure and Joint Commission standards, confer with medical staff and program manager, maintain compliance with agency procedures, and possibly carry a small caseload.

Provide community-based DFS liaison and case management services for families affected by substance use. Screen clients, administer screening tools, connect families to treatment and benefits, transport clients, support DFS staff with education and liaison work, participate in case presentations, perform outreach, document progress, and provide crisis intervention as needed.

Provide community-based case management for clients with substance abuse and mental health needs: assess, create individualized care plans, link and monitor services, maintain EMR, ensure face-to-face contacts, and provide/coordinate transportation.

Provide community-based case management and DFS liaison services to identify substance use in families, connect clients to treatment and benefits, conduct screenings, transport clients, participate in case meetings, deliver outreach and education, and document client progress to promote child safety and reduce future harm.
