Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program Benefits Overview

The Individual Giving Manager manages and grows a portfolio of mid-level individual donors, executes direct and digital fundraising appeals, and develops donor cultivation and stewardship strategies. Responsibilities include overseeing Emerging Leaders and Boston Marathon fundraising programs, engaging donors and community groups, tracking donor data in Raiser's Edge, monitoring performance benchmarks, creating targeted outreach, and collaborating with communications and development teams. The role also includes donor solicitation, event engagement, personalized outreach, and identifying major-gift prospects.

Serves as the HR partner for assigned departments, advising managers and employees on employee relations, investigations, labor relations, performance management, staffing, onboarding, compensation, benefits, compliance, accommodations, workers’ compensation, and safety. The role supports union grievance processes, maintains HR records and HRIS processes, conducts exit interviews, develops HR solutions, and ensures compliance with employment laws and organizational policies.
