Supports the design, maintenance, and optimization of mechanical systems and equipment in a steel pipe manufacturing facility. Works across pipe mills and heat treatment operations to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, optimize maintenance and tooling, enhance process efficiency, and promote safe, sustainable operations. The role involves hands-on work in a production environment, collaboration with operations and maintenance teams, and possible shift, night, weekend, startup, and major-maintenance coverage.

Manage outside sales for standard pipe across assigned territories and accounts. Own revenue, margins, forecasting, pricing, inventory exposure, customer relationships, negotiations, and market intelligence. Partner with planning, operations, logistics, quality, and sales leadership to support profitable growth. The role requires substantial field travel and is expected to develop into leadership of outside sales representatives.

Develops and maintains production schedules for a manufacturing facility by balancing demand, inventory, materials, capacity, labor, maintenance, quality, and delivery requirements. Uses SAP to manage production orders, MRP results, planning data, capacity loads, and schedule performance. Coordinates with production, procurement, logistics, quality, maintenance, and finance teams to resolve constraints, manage disruptions, and support recovery plans.

Analyzes financial and operational performance while supporting budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, financial modeling, cost analysis, inventory analysis, and executive reporting. Partners with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance leaders to identify savings and process improvements. Uses Excel, AI, automation, and advanced analytics to generate insights and improve decision-making in a manufacturing environment.
