Support the Mechanic with preventative and corrective maintenance of rig mechanical systems, operate and maintain power-generating and auxiliary equipment, update CMMS records, follow lock-out-tag-out and QHSE procedures, assist in fluid transfers and emergency response, maintain housekeeping, and work toward development into a Mechanic role.

Operate and monitor derrick and circulating systems during offshore drilling. Support driller with pipe handling, mud system maintenance, BOP and well control tasks, inspections, housekeeping, safety compliance, and crew training. Maintain logs, assist in rig operations/maintenance, and follow QHSE procedures.

Provide HR support to the Corporate HR Hub: manage employment contracts, inductions, right-to-work checks, HRIS actions for hires/transfers/terminations and absences, review expenses, validate monthly variable payroll data, prepare payroll input sheets, support audits and ad hoc HR projects, and cover for the Corporate HR Advisor as needed.

Lead day-to-day treasury operations, overseeing cash and liquidity execution, banking administration, controls, SOPs, and process automation. Serve as escalation point for execution issues, support audits and SOX compliance, and provide operational oversight and mentorship to junior treasury staff.

Coordinate operational, HSE, marine and legislative training and competence for onshore and offshore personnel. Manage course bookings, liaise with training providers and flag state authorities, maintain HRIS records and training matrices, verify qualifications, arrange travel and accommodation, produce monthly and ad-hoc reports, reconcile training payments, and support development of training policies and schedules.

Support the Driller in safe, efficient offshore jack-up rig operations including equipment checks, BOP and BHA handling, well control drills, crew supervision, maintenance, documentation, and competency assessments.

Support safe, compliant operation and maintenance of drilling rigs: track KPIs, PMs, AFE and client recharges, manage warm-stacking/reactivation, assist tendering and contract costing, liaise with onshore/offshore teams and provide temporary Rig Manager cover as required.

Manage and govern technical document control processes for Asset Management, maintain and update rig and marine compliance documentation, ensure certifications are current, conduct audits, produce control reports, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve document systems and compliance.

Coordinate and maintain operational, HSE, marine and legislative training and competence records; manage course bookings, providers, travel and accommodation; maintain HRIS and training portals; verify qualifications; produce regular and ad hoc reports; support training policy and reconcile training payments.

Support driller by operating and maintaining rig floor equipment, assist in pipe handling, BOP installation and testing, carry out inspections, maintain housekeeping, follow QHSE/SSOW procedures, participate in safety meetings, and perform general rig floor duties during drilling, workover, completions and maintenance.

Lead regional supply chain operations including inventory, procurement, logistics, supplier contracts, ERP adoption, compliance with safety and corporate policies, budget control, KPI monitoring, vendor performance, team management, emergency response participation, and cross-functional coordination with operations, finance, legal and technical teams.

Provide operational, analytical, and project support for global compensation and benefits programs. Assist with market benchmarking, job evaluations, HRIS data maintenance, benefits administration, vendor coordination, renewals, claims support, and communications. Prepare reports, audits, and analyses to support decision-making and ensure compliance with company policies and local legislation. Support implementation in new countries, wellbeing and recognition programs, and process improvement initiatives under the guidance of senior C&B staff.

Process and distribute payroll for assigned groups, enter payroll data, handle manual and off-cycle payments, resolve payroll discrepancies and queries, administer pensions, prepare payroll reports, support compliance and Workday HRIS tasks, and collaborate with HR, Accounting, and Treasury.

Provide financial analysis, reporting, and commercial insight to support operational decision-making, contract/tender evaluation, forecasting, cash management, and governance of KPI and bid approval processes across regions.

Lead global payroll and employment tax operations, ensuring compliance, accurate payroll delivery, SOX readiness, and process improvements across multiple jurisdictions. Manage payroll systems, vendor relationships, audits, statutory filings, expatriate payroll, and cross-functional stakeholder advisory to strengthen controls and scale HR payroll services.

Serve as first point of contact for offshore personnel, coordinate crew movements, maintain personnel files and HRIS, support recruitment, payroll, visas, certification compliance, and employee relations. Provide HR on-call support, assist OIM/Rig Manager with disciplinary matters, manage crew rota and travel, verify training and medical renewals, and support audits and emergency response.

Plan, coordinate and implement QHSE policies and audits for onshore and offshore rig operations. Support regulatory compliance, incident investigations, training, contractor audits, and integration with clients. Coach rig teams, develop HSE plans, track lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance while liaising with management, clients and authorities.
