Support the Mechanic with preventative and corrective maintenance of rig mechanical systems, operate and maintain power-generating and auxiliary equipment, update CMMS records, follow lock-out-tag-out and QHSE procedures, assist in fluid transfers and emergency response, maintain housekeeping, and work toward development into a Mechanic role.

Operate and monitor derrick and circulating systems during offshore drilling. Support driller with pipe handling, mud system maintenance, BOP and well control tasks, inspections, housekeeping, safety compliance, and crew training. Maintain logs, assist in rig operations/maintenance, and follow QHSE procedures.

Provide HR support to the Corporate HR Hub: manage employment contracts, inductions, right-to-work checks, HRIS actions for hires/transfers/terminations and absences, review expenses, validate monthly variable payroll data, prepare payroll input sheets, support audits and ad hoc HR projects, and cover for the Corporate HR Advisor as needed.
