Lead procurement programs across multiple commodity areas for launch vehicle manufacturing and operations. Lead configuration and CAD management for a reentry system: integrate structural, mechanical, fluids, and avionics subsystems; define interfaces; drive manufacturable designs; manage vehicle CAD models and change control; support requirements, verification planning, and cross-functional configuration reviews to meet program milestones.

Lead and grow a team of manufacturing engineers to develop, implement, and optimize fabrication processes for engine hardware. Mentor staff, balance workloads, coordinate with program and operations leaders, drive DFMA/PFMEA and continuous improvement, insource new manufacturing methods, ensure compliance with company processes, and support hardware preparation for test, qualification, and flight.

Plan, design, and execute fabrication and production processes for aerospace electronic assemblies. Support technicians, troubleshoot and disposition non-conforming hardware, lead RCAs, implement engineering changes, develop work instructions and GSE, and apply DFMA to improve manufacturability and reliability.

Provide strategic, enterprise-wide legal advice on labor, employment, compensation, and benefits; support TA and Total Rewards; manage employment litigation and outside counsel; develop policies, compliance programs, and training; monitor regulatory changes; and lead international employment coordination as Blue Origin expands globally.

Develop, modify, and release Siemens NX models, assemblies, and ASME Y14.5 drawings for production and test tooling. Apply MBD/PMI per ASME Y14.41, follow configuration-management processes, support vendor RFQs/inspection packages, perform drawing/model checks, and collaborate with engineering teams. Mentor junior drafters and ensure manufacturable designs for aerospace tooling and GSE.

Lead quality and reliability strategy for satellite connectivity systems across lifecycle. Build and lead reliability organization, implement FMEA/FTA and predictive analytics, drive test/validation, root-cause and supplier quality, oversee on-orbit anomaly management, ensure compliance and continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigma.

Lead a manufacturing engineering team for rocket engine assembly, translate designs into production processes, develop tooling and production lines, apply DFMA/PFMEA, improve safety, quality and cost, manage BOMs/work instructions, and support scale-up from R&D to higher-rate production.

Lead GN&C systems engineering for lunar landers: derive and flow down requirements, manage budgets and performance, perform analyses, simulations and hardware-in-the-loop tests, develop V&V plans, and coordinate with propulsion, structures, dynamics, and vehicle teams to ensure subsystem readiness for lunar operations.

Serve as primary legal advisor for Advanced Engines, providing transactional, construction, regulatory, IP, and commercial counsel. Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial and construction agreements, advise on infrastructure/project finance and compliance, coordinate cross-functional legal support, develop internal policies and playbooks, and manage contractual and regulatory risk.

Lead a team overseeing supply chain performance, develop strategies, ensure compliance, manage budgets, and analyze data for continuous improvement.

Lead and manage assembly, integration, and environmental testing (TVAC, vibration, acoustic, shock, EMC) for national security spacecraft. Oversee cross-disciplinary teams, plan AI&T campaigns, act as Cost Account Manager (EVM), coordinate with external test facilities and government customers, ensure safety, quality, configuration control, and mentor engineering and technician staff.

Lead manufacturing readiness and standardization for lunar operations: plan Production Readiness Reviews, assess MRLs/PRLs, author Standard Rework/Repair Manuals, standardize ME workflows, integrate automation and digital tools, build knowledge systems, and create dashboards and KPIs to improve readiness, throughput, and continuous improvement.

Perform orbit determination using radiometric, Doppler, and GPS data; develop and maintain navigation software; support mission operations and trajectory design across GEO, cislunar, and interplanetary missions; build and validate force and measurement models; document results and contribute in an Agile development environment.

Lead Manufacturing Engineering (ME) process standardization and automation initiatives. Manage ME change-tracking, establish operating rhythms and KPIs, drive adoption of enterprise tools, and deliver measurable productivity improvements across manufacturing teams.

Design, implement, test, and deploy mission operations and ground software for on-orbit vehicles. Collaborate with vehicle, systems, and operations teams to define requirements and architectures, build prototypes, integrate components, run unit and system tests (SIL/HIL), support CI/CD and release processes, produce documentation, and support mission control operations, training, and pre-flight validation.

Lead investigations into recurring reliability issues across production, integration, refurbishment, and launch operations. Analyze downtime and nonconformances, drive root-cause corrective actions, standardize procedures and maintenance plans, support commissioning of tools and systems, build simple reliability tracking tools, and work closely with design, manufacturing, GSE, Quality, and Operations while spending significant time observing field and factory execution.

Design, build, and validate EGSE/ATE hardware and test software (primarily LabVIEW) for motion control and GNC components. Develop test plans, interface control documents, instrumentation integration, execute environmental and performance tests, collect/analyze data, troubleshoot systems, and maintain test documentation and version-controlled test software to support flight and qualification hardware.
