Supervise a hands-on team assembling unmanned surface vessels, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals. Plan daily manufacturing activities across harnesses, hull systems, decks, final assembly, and testing. Conduct inspections, maintain process-control records, manage equipment and materials, support lean improvements, train employees, and address quality issues. The role requires boat or comparable manufacturing experience, technical-document interpretation, OSHA familiarity, ERP and computer skills, and the ability to work in an industrial environment.

Lead the design, integration, deployment, and testing of autonomy systems for uncrewed surface vessels. Develop perception, sensor fusion, navigation, collision avoidance, mission planning, and control capabilities while ensuring COLREG, cybersecurity, ITAR/EAR, and safety compliance. Coordinate with engineering and field teams, mentor junior staff, support simulation and vessel integration, and advance AI-enabled autonomous maritime operations. Domestic and international travel is required for integration, sea trials, and customer support.

Designs and develops production-ready uncrewed surface vessel hardware, including composite structures, machinery layouts, propulsion, fuel systems, equipment mounts, payload interfaces, and integrated marine systems. Creates 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation; supports fabrication, testing, troubleshooting, configuration control, and design revisions. Collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and vessel operations teams throughout prototype and production development.

Develops and maintains production schedules aligned with demand, capacity, materials, labor, and equipment. Manages MRP/ERP planning data, work orders, inventory coordination, scheduling conflicts, and production priorities. Collaborates across production, materials, engineering, quality, customer service, and leadership teams. Analyzes production KPIs and supports lean manufacturing, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Serve as the front‑office contact and provide administrative and operational support to leadership and staff. Manage vendor relationships, facilities and security coordination, scheduling, records and confidential documents, office supplies, and event planning. Identify process improvements, support HR coordination, and ensure a safe, organized office environment while handling ad hoc duties and occasional production‑facility visits.

Owns the reliability, security, performance, and administration of hybrid IT infrastructure spanning Microsoft 365, GCC High, Windows, Linux, macOS, Azure, AWS, endpoints, identity, and collaboration platforms. Responsibilities include patching, monitoring, backups, disaster recovery, vulnerability remediation, incident response, service management, documentation, automation, infrastructure modernization, application-tool support, and technical escalation. The role mentors junior staff, supports compliance-focused environments, and participates in on-call and after-hours maintenance.

Design, implement, and continuously improve quality systems for USV production. Create QC plans, SOPs, inspection/test procedures, manage in-process and final inspections, material control per AS9100, lead CAPA and PFMEA updates, analyze quality metrics, and mentor a quality team while supporting supplier and contract manufacturing audits.
