Build and lead Blue Energy’s HSSE department and project-specific program for a nuclear power project. Establish safety, health, security, environmental, compliance, emergency management, training, reporting, and partner oversight systems. Ensure OSHA and environmental compliance, lead incident investigations, manage audits and risk assessments, track HSSE KPIs, foster safety culture, coordinate emergency preparedness, and present performance reports to leadership and the Board.

Provide transactional legal support across procurement, commercial and corporate matters for nuclear project development. Draft, review and negotiate supply/purchase contracts, NDAs, formation documents, and project finance documents. Ensure bankability of project documents, advise on regulatory/export control and IP issues, manage outside counsel, and partner with business teams and stakeholders.

Leads Blue Energy’s federal, state, local, and international government affairs strategy for nuclear power development. Responsibilities include policymaker advocacy, FERC and RTO engagement, energy policy intelligence, permitting and interconnection strategy, community and stakeholder relations, opposition management, executive relationship facilitation, team building, and oversight of lobbyists and consultants. The role collaborates with Commercial, Regulatory, Communications, and Legal teams while supporting project launches and broader business growth.

Manage development of multiple advanced nuclear project sites from site origination through pre-construction readiness. Coordinate land acquisition, permitting, interconnection, stakeholder engagement, schedules, budgets, and cross-functional teams to advance projects and secure necessary agreements and community support.

Lead and manage owner-side estimating teams and subcontractors to develop, validate, and maintain Class 5–1 capital cost estimates for large industrial and energy projects. Oversee estimate governance, contractor estimate validation, risk-based forecasting, scope/change evaluation, contingency analysis, benchmarking, and executive reporting across project phases. Integrate estimates with project controls, support procurement and contract negotiations, and present cost positions to leadership, lenders, and stakeholders.

Lead cross-company initiatives, own OKR/KPI processes, build dashboards and scorecards, and run the company operating rhythm. Coordinate stakeholders, support board/investor materials, and drive continuous-improvement efforts to remove friction and ensure commitments are aligned and executed.

Manage delivery of major project sub-scopes from engineering through commissioning for a CCGT/nuclear hybrid site. Oversee contractors, schedules, budgets, procurement, risk mitigation, and reporting; ensure compliance with standards, conduct site visits, and coordinate stakeholders to keep scope on time and on budget.

The Principal of Commercial at Blue Energy will strategize and advance commercial opportunities in the energy sector, focusing on customer engagement and complex deal structures for SMRs.

Accountable Technical Authority for engineering, procurement, and construction contracts. Establish and enforce technical assurance, codes/standards governance, compliance monitoring and CAPA, interface and configuration management, design review oversight, change control, and supplier technical oversight. Lead a technical integration team and deliver portfolio-level metrics, ICDs, RCAs, and verified conformance of safety-related deliverables to protect the owner's technical and commercial interests.

Lead origination and close long-term offtake agreements (PPAs, capacity, thermal, built-transfer) for an SMR fleet. Build anchor customer relationships, structure bankable contracts, align internal teams, monitor markets and policy, represent the company externally, and manage a team of analysts and associates.

The Director of Project Development leads the site development lifecycle for nuclear projects, managing teams and ensuring alignment across commercial, finance, and engineering departments.

Lead project-wide modularization strategy for CCGT and SMR plants: define module types and boundaries, integrate design for modularization, qualify fabrication yards, manage fabrication, transport and site installation, and track schedule, cost, and quality to reduce on-site risk and improve productivity.

Lead day-to-day modularization and shop-fabrication work for an SMR power block: manage fabricator SOW delivery, evaluate module concepts for fabrication/transport/installation feasibility, define module breakdowns and interfaces, maintain schedules and risk registers, ensure ISO 19650 information management and regulatory/quality compliance, and mentor a junior engineer while coordinating across owner, OEM, and fabricator stakeholders.

Senior capital markets leader responsible for investor relations, fundraising strategy and execution (private rounds through IPO), public market preparation, investor communications, and coordinating capital structure and bankability across corporate and project finance. Acts as strategic partner to CEO/CFO/Board and leads capital markets materials, roadshows, advisor selection, and a small IR team.

Lead day-to-day accounting operations including full record-to-report cycle, month-end close, financial statement preparation, AP oversight, 13-week cash forecasting, debt covenant compliance, equity roll-forwards, fixed asset/CIP tracking, audit support, and direct management of a small accounting team.
