Leads Blue Energy’s federal, state, local, and international government affairs strategy for nuclear power development. Responsibilities include policymaker advocacy, FERC and RTO engagement, energy policy intelligence, permitting and interconnection strategy, community and stakeholder relations, opposition management, executive relationship facilitation, team building, and oversight of lobbyists and consultants. The role collaborates with Commercial, Regulatory, Communications, and Legal teams while supporting project launches and broader business growth.

Manage development of multiple advanced nuclear project sites from site origination through pre-construction readiness. Coordinate land acquisition, permitting, interconnection, stakeholder engagement, schedules, budgets, and cross-functional teams to advance projects and secure necessary agreements and community support.

Lead and manage owner-side estimating teams and subcontractors to develop, validate, and maintain Class 5–1 capital cost estimates for large industrial and energy projects. Oversee estimate governance, contractor estimate validation, risk-based forecasting, scope/change evaluation, contingency analysis, benchmarking, and executive reporting across project phases. Integrate estimates with project controls, support procurement and contract negotiations, and present cost positions to leadership, lenders, and stakeholders.
