Design and improve hardware systems for toll collection, including cameras, detectors, illuminators, circuit boards, sensors, and outdoor deployments. Develop on-device Python or C++ code, integrate hardware with software and servers, prototype new devices, and iterate CAD models for scalable assembly. The role requires hands-on ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and in-office work in Denver.

Own the infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, versioning, and rollback systems that move computer vision and machine learning models from development into reliable cloud and edge production environments. Process and optimize pipelines handling 11 million daily images, support roadside hardware deployments, detect model degradation, and manage updates and retraining. The role requires strong production software engineering skills, adaptability, and interest in operationalizing ML at scale.

Own Blissway’s finance and operational engine, including monthly close, reconciliations, reporting, cash forecasting, customer billing, collections, vendor payments, payroll, benefits, contracts, insurance, and compliance calendars. The role partners with founders and an outside CPA firm, manages public-agency invoicing, improves processes, and ensures financial and operational deadlines are met.
