Commercial Counsel supporting EU and US technology transactions for a generative AI company. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating software licensing, API, platform, data, content, and partnership agreements; advising on German corporate law and cross-border deals; supporting compliance and legal operations; and developing scalable contract templates, playbooks, and approval workflows.

Drive customer adoption and production deployment of Black Forest Labs’ generative AI models. Partner with Sales, research, engineering, and business development teams on pre-sales, onboarding, technical demonstrations, prompting, evaluation, fine-tuning, and integrations. Guide customers through complex technical implementations, create enablement materials and self-service tools, contribute to open-source inference and fine-tuning codebases, and relay customer feedback to improve products and model capabilities.

Lead Black Forest Labs’ brand and marketing design across visual identity, model launches, campaigns, website, events, merchandise, and marketing materials. Build brand guidelines, templates, tools, and scalable design systems while partnering with product, research, growth, engineering, and marketing teams. Establish design processes and quality standards, contribute hands-on creative work, and help shape future design hiring.

Leads Product Research for generative AI models, defining evaluation strategies, model improvement priorities, data requirements, and release quality standards. Manages Applied Researchers conducting evaluations, fine-tuning, and reinforcement learning. Translates customer feedback, usage data, leaderboards, and research signals into ranked priorities, partners with Research, Backend, Product, and GTM, and owns capability claims and go/no-go decisions for model releases.

Own the full sales cycle for technically complex B2B deals involving APIs, on-premises deployments, and custom licensing. Manage multi-stakeholder negotiations, build strategic customer relationships, drive retention and expansion, and develop sales processes in an early-stage environment. Collaborate with engineering, research, product, solutions engineering, and legal teams while translating customer needs into product feedback.

Drive strategic partnerships and complex commercial deals for generative AI technologies. Develop pricing, licensing, and distribution models; collaborate with research, engineering, finance, and legal; translate technical capabilities into commercial opportunities; and build long-term relationships with API users and enterprise customers.

Own Black Forest Labs’ end-to-end developer experience across APIs, SDKs, dashboards, MCP servers, documentation surfaces, and onboarding. Partner with platform, product engineering, research, DevRel, and growth teams to reduce developer and agent friction. Design API contracts, error formats, asynchronous workflows, SDK primitives, and machine-readable interfaces while shipping full-stack product features for external developers and agentic applications.
