Define and trace requirements, plan and execute V&V, perform hands-on bench bring-up and debugging, manage system-level risks, and build automated test setups, documentation, protocols, and SOPs to support development and verification.

Lead end-to-end hardware development for GutLab sampling systems: system architecture, CAD design, prototyping, validation, manufacturing scale-up, supplier alignment, field troubleshooting, and team leadership to ensure production-ready, reliable devices.

Build and maintain the MetaBiome platform: design bioinformatics architecture and reproducible pipelines for shotgun metagenomics, implement cloud-based data engineering and REST endpoints, lead statistical analyses and methods development, integrate clinical ontologies, and contribute frontend/backend interfaces while ensuring QC, security, and compliance.

Lead and scale academic, industry, and clinical partnerships for microbiome biomarker discovery. Develop BD strategy, build tracking systems and KPIs, create scientific collateral, negotiate study agreements, manage IRB approvals, and translate research into commercial opportunities to grow pipeline and partner engagement.
