The role requires strong backend development, debugging, database, SaaS, communication, and collaboration skills across a distributed engineering team.

Owns product initiatives across the platform and client portal, leading discovery, delivery, launch, and iteration. Partners with engineering, design, operations, accounting, implementations, and customers to simplify complex billing workflows, validate problems, define requirements, and shape product direction. The role requires strong ownership, communication, judgment, and the ability to bring structure to ambiguous, data-heavy operational systems.

Owns end-to-end SaaS implementation projects from kickoff through go-live. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, billing platform configuration, data migration, system integrations, testing, regulatory validation, UAT coordination, project planning, and client communication. The role manages multiple concurrent deployments and serves as the primary technical contact, translating client needs into system configurations while coordinating Client Services, Product, Engineering, and client stakeholders.

The VP of Finance will build and own Billee’s financial model, forecasting, budgeting, cash planning, and reporting processes. The role prepares board and investor materials, supports fundraising and diligence, manages the Carta cap table, advises executive leadership, and establishes scalable finance systems and workflows. The position partners with Accounting, Operations, and Sales on reporting, budgets, and revenue forecasting.
