Develop large-scale applications using Java, AWS, Lambda, event-driven architecture, REST APIs, and GraphQL. Work with multiple databases, implement automated testing, protect data integrity, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer-facing pricing and upgrade experiences.

Leads technical accounting for revenue recognition, complex transactions, stock-based compensation, and accounting policy. Drives company-wide platform strategy, organizational change, reliability, security, AI adoption, and developer productivity while managing engineers and engineering managers. Partners with executives and cross-functional leaders to align investments, measure outcomes, and scale software delivery across hundreds of services.

Owns analytics for BILL’s payments products, setting the measurement agenda, defining KPIs and OKRs, building production-grade dbt models, and conducting experimentation and causal inference. Partners with Product, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, and leadership to identify opportunities, improve data quality, automate reporting, and influence roadmap decisions. Presents executive insights and defends metric definitions and recommendations.

Leads full-cycle recruiting for Engineering and Data Science roles, including sourcing, candidate assessment, stakeholder advising, offer negotiation, and closing. Develops targeted sourcing and nurture strategies, builds AI-assisted recruiting workflows, maintains applicant tracking data, and analyzes recruiting funnels to improve hiring speed and quality. Partners with hiring managers to calibrate profiles, conduct structured evaluations, and deliver a high-touch candidate experience.

Own the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for BILL’s Sync, Integrations, and App Center portfolio. Lead cross-functional teams in developing ERP integrations, APIs, partner ecosystems, and accounting workflows. Drive customer discovery, business cases, experimentation, reliability improvements, launches, and adoption. Partner with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Finance, GTM, and CX to improve retention, revenue, sync success, and connected organizations.

Leads the SMB sales organization, including up to five managers and approximately 42 account executives. Owns pipeline, forecasting, bookings, revenue attainment, hiring, coaching, and high-velocity inbound sales operations. Drives adoption of BILL’s unified financial platform, develops scalable processes, partners cross-functionally on go-to-market execution, and provides market insights to influence product strategy.

Drive new mid-market business for BILL’s AP and cash-flow automation solutions through the full sales cycle. Build high-performance SaaS applications using AWS services, SQL and NoSQL databases, Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with feature teams and product managers while applying generative AI and LLM technologies to accelerate engineering workflows.

Manages the company’s SOX Section 404 compliance program for business processes and IT application controls. Leads risk assessment, scoping, documentation, testing coordination, deficiency remediation, audit liaison activities, control rationalization, process automation, and stakeholder training. Coordinates internal and external auditors, manages project timelines and consultants, evaluates system and process changes, and reports compliance status to management. Partners cross-functionally to strengthen ICFR and optimize controls in a high-growth fintech environment.

The role partners with Sales, Enablement, and Product to improve customer-facing practices and translate complex financial workflows into practical recommendations.

Designs, automates, and optimizes mission-critical PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, and DynamoDB platforms. Builds infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, automated failovers, database tooling, and Kafka-based change data capture and replication frameworks. Partners with systems engineers, developers, and architects to deliver resilient, high-performance, event-driven data infrastructure. Maintains monitoring, alerting, security, access controls, query optimization, and real-time data availability across AWS environments.
