Develops and oversees staff training, orientation, competency evaluation, continuing education, and regulatory education for nursing facility personnel. Conducts educational needs assessments, creates training plans and calendars, maintains training records, updates instructional content, and collaborates with facility leaders to ensure staff meet resident-care requirements and current standards of practice.

Directs all day-to-day operations of a long-term care and skilled nursing facility, overseeing regulatory compliance, clinical quality, staffing, human resources, budgeting, financial performance, safety, and facility programs. The Administrator develops policies, manages survey corrections and QAPI initiatives, coordinates with governing boards and external agencies, and ensures adequate staffing and resident-focused service delivery.

Perform and complete accurate MDS assessments and interdisciplinary care plans per federal/state guidelines. Identify resident acuity, coordinate care with disciplines, train staff on RAI process, transmit completed assessments, attend Medicare/clinical/QAPI meetings, and act as case manager communicating with insurers for continued authorization.
