Own complex AWS cloud infrastructure and platform initiatives, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automation, observability, reliability, security, and incident response. Lead troubleshooting, architecture discussions, resilience improvements, operational standards, and high-impact incident resolution. The role also provides technical mentorship, influences cross-team engineering decisions, and participates in an on-call rotation.

Performs daily bank and customer payment reconciliations, investigates and resolves payment exceptions, processes ACH and wire payments, and supports cash forecasting, liquidity reporting, bank analysis, financial close, and operational audits. Maintains SQL, Snowflake, and Power BI reporting while coordinating with internal teams, banking partners, and payment processors. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, communication, and the ability to meet recurring deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Provides independent second-line oversight and challenge of consumer credit underwriting, pricing, loan assignment, verification, and portfolio strategies. Monitors portfolio performance, identifies emerging risks and deterioration, evaluates strategy changes against risk appetite and regulatory expectations, develops senior-management reporting and dashboards, escalates material issues, and supports audits, regulatory examinations, and remediation.

Lead product vision and roadmap for secured loans, driving end-to-end delivery through cross-functional collaboration. Use customer research, metrics, A/B testing, and outcome-focused iteration to balance customer experience, business results, and risk management.

Own and execute credit, pricing, and offer strategies for consumer lending products. Translate risk appetite and profitability targets into decisioning logic, segmentation, pricing tiers, and operational rules. Design and evaluate champion/challenger tests, analyze approval, conversion, yield, loss, and profitability metrics, and prepare performance reporting. Partner cross-functionally to implement strategies, monitor outcomes, and recommend targeted optimizations to improve risk-adjusted yield within established frameworks.

Administers organization-wide identity and access management, including provisioning, modification, and deprovisioning for employees, contractors, and vendors. Coordinates joiner-mover-leaver processes, access certifications, remediation, reporting, documentation, audits, and compliance activities. Partners with HR, Security, IT, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to meet service levels, maintain least-privilege access, support regulatory controls, and improve IAM workflows and automation.

Build and deploy machine learning models and end-to-end pipelines for marketing targeting, customer outcomes, and loan origination. Responsibilities include feature engineering, experimentation, model evaluation, monitoring, documentation, governance, and translating analytical findings into business recommendations. The role collaborates with marketing, analytics, product, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver explainable, compliant solutions.

Assess and strengthen Best Egg/Barclays internal control framework for Consumer Loan business. Conduct process and control mapping, current-state and gap assessments against Barclays standards, document risks and controls, recommend and manage remediation plans, and report findings to stakeholders. Partner with business owners to design controls, monitor remediation progress, and integrate controls into Barclays control systems.

Partner with Product and engineering teams to analyze and optimize the application funnel, develop and deploy AI/ML solutions, automate reporting/monitoring with SQL and Python, assess third-party vendors, and support test-and-learn plans to improve business KPIs.
