Oversee mechanical and electrical assembly, production planning, resource allocation, and team management. Ensure on-time assembly, quality standards, maintenance, KPI monitoring, 5S, health and safety, and cross-department coordination. Hire, train, evaluate, and lead production staff to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

Manage end-to-end delivery of packaging equipment projects: create and execute project plans, manage client relationships, control schedule and costs, coordinate FAT/SAT, handle scope changes and upsell requests, update ERP, and drive process improvements to ensure quality before shipment.

Support procurement by analyzing purchasing and inventory data, maintaining ERP data integrity, preparing RFQs, monitoring supplier performance, and recommending replenishment and cost-saving strategies while collaborating with production and engineering.

Set up and operate conventional lathes, mills and honing machines to produce small-batch mechanical components. Read blueprints, select tooling, adjust speeds/feeds, inspect, deburr, package parts, perform routine maintenance, and follow safety and housekeeping procedures while collaborating with production and engineering.

Lead growth across a U.S. territory selling complex automated packaging equipment. Prospect and develop new accounts, run long-cycle consultative sales, influence technical and executive stakeholders, collaborate with Engineering and Operations to design solutions, represent the company at customer sites and trade shows, and travel extensively across the U.S. and to company headquarters in Montreal.

Sell and develop a U.S. or Canadian territory for complex automated packaging equipment. Prospect and advance long-cycle consultative opportunities, influence technical and executive stakeholders, collaborate with engineering and operations to craft solutions, represent the company at customer sites and trade shows, and travel frequently across the territory.

Design and develop electrical systems for packaging machines from concept to production. Create detailed schematics and panel layouts in AutoCAD Electrical, select components, ensure code compliance (CSA/UL), produce BOMs, troubleshoot designs, perform root cause analysis, document NCRs/ECRs, and provide technical support to Sales, Service and other departments.
