Owns employee relations investigations, corrective action, separations, unemployment claims, leave administration, ADA accommodations, and HR compliance across a multi-site workforce. The manager coaches supervisors, prepares investigation findings, represents the company in unemployment hearings, supports hiring panels, and helps develop manager training. This role partners with the Director of Human Resources to build scalable HR processes across corporate, retail, cultivation, manufacturing, distribution, and compliance teams.

Own full-cycle recruiting across retail, cultivation, manufacturing, and corporate roles. Build sourcing channels and candidate pipelines, administer the applicant tracking system, coordinate interviews, extend offers, lead weekly orientations, and manage onboarding documentation, background screening, I-9 compliance, and Missouri cannabis agent identification applications. Track recruitment metrics including source of hire, cost per hire, time to fill, offer acceptance, and retention outcomes. Partner with hiring managers and develop the recruitment function from the ground up.

Supervise 2-4 technicians and hands-on chemical processing operations, including hydrocarbon and ethanol extraction, post-processing, and distillation. Assign production work, coach staff, maintain equipment, monitor process parameters, troubleshoot deviations, and enforce safety, cGMP, SOP, and regulatory requirements. Review batch records, track solvents and yields, maintain METRC compliance, support audits and inspections, and escalate personnel or process issues to management.

First in-house General Counsel to build BeLeaf Medical's legal function. Advise CEO and leadership on commercial contracts, leases, employment, M&A diligence, litigation management, corporate governance, and regulatory interpretation. Draft and negotiate agreements, manage outside counsel, partner with HR and Compliance, and support multi-entity, multi-site cannabis operations.
