Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Clinical, Product, Support, and Customer Success; provide sleep-testing subject matter expertise; develop playbooks and standards; mentor peers; support regulated medical-device compliance; and travel nationally for customer implementations.

Provides frontline and advanced technical support for Beacon's software, medical devices, accounts, and healthcare workflows. Troubleshoots Windows environments, connected devices, logs, SQL data, and customer systems; reproduces issues, documents findings, and coordinates with technical teams. Supports onboarding, training, account provisioning, and customer communications while maintaining ownership in a high-volume remote environment.

Lead architecture and development of Beacon’s backend data platform, including PostgreSQL data models, Kafka event pipelines, GraphQL APIs, clinical data access controls, and warehouse snapshot pipelines. Design complex systems, tune queries, operate production services, debug cross-system issues, write RFCs, mentor engineers, improve tooling and documentation, and collaborate with scientific, clinical, product, and engineering stakeholders.

Build and maintain React and TypeScript web applications for EEG analytics, clinical study management, and at-home patient diagnostics. Own user experience, performance, reliability, and observability while designing data-rich workflows and interactive visualizations. Collaborate asynchronously with product designers and cross-functional teams, contribute to roadmap direction, and develop scalable GraphQL consumers. The role involves supporting clinical operations, physician workflows, and diagnostic reporting.

Oversee clinical study operations from startup through closeout, including site onboarding, training, operational monitoring, stakeholder communication, risk management, documentation, and GCP compliance. Serve as the primary contact for clinical sites and sponsors, support device and protocol training, resolve operational issues, and provide site feedback to improve devices and workflows. Coach peers on quality practices, documentation, version control, and complaint management.

Design and scale backend data infrastructure for Beacon’s Datastore, including PostgreSQL models, Kafka-based event pipelines, GraphQL APIs, and warehouse dataset snapshots. Develops and executes hardware and firmware testing for EEG and home sleep systems, including characterization, verification, integration, regression, and system testing. Creates test plans, protocols, scripts, fixtures, and documentation; troubleshoots hardware and firmware issues; performs root cause analysis; supports regulatory compliance; and implements test automation and process improvements. The role collaborates with hardware, firmware, software, manufacturing, research, and quality teams and requires working from the Boston office approximately three days per week.

Manage the Clinical Study Operations team and oversee end-to-end execution of device-based clinical trials, including feasibility, site start-up, enrollment, monitoring, data quality, and close-out. Lead hiring, coaching, performance management, risk escalation, sponsor and CRO relationships, SOP and QMS improvements, KPIs, tooling initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and BD.

Provides compassionate phone and scheduling support to patients and customers throughout the at-home sleep testing process. Responsibilities include coordinating appointments, managing outbound calls, troubleshooting equipment, documenting interactions, protecting PHI under HIPAA, resolving or escalating issues, and collaborating cross-functionally. Coordinate cross-functional projects, vendors, budgets, compliance reviews, and event outreach while supporting marketing and sales efficiency.

Oversee accounting, payroll, month-end close, revenue recognition, cash management, financial reporting, payroll tax compliance, internal controls, KPI reporting, expense approvals, and finance process improvements. Lead the full algorithm lifecycle, including requirements, data curation, modeling, validation, production deployment, documentation, testing, and maintenance. Apply DSP and statistical methods, improve internal ML tooling, introduce advanced model architectures, support regulatory-quality processes, present results to stakeholders, and collaborate with clients, clinicians, neuroscientists, and engineers.

Leads the Analytics Systems Team of 6–10 engineers, overseeing team development, engineering quality, project delivery, product direction, roadmap prioritization, and strategic analytics infrastructure. The role guides development of data pipelines, analytics tooling, feature stores, and foundation-model integrations supporting clinical trials, diagnostics, biomarker discovery, and regulated Life Sciences workflows.
