Responsibilities include data curation, model development, failure analysis, productionization, testing, documentation, regulatory-quality validation, stakeholder presentations, and client collaboration. The role also improves internal ML tooling and engineering best practices.

Leads architecture and development of Beacon’s backend data platform, including PostgreSQL data models, Kafka event pipelines, GraphQL APIs, and warehouse snapshot pipelines. The role requires debugging complex systems, writing and tuning SQL, collaborating with scientific and clinical stakeholders, drafting RFCs, mentoring engineers, improving tooling and documentation, and operating containerized services in remote environments.

Develop, validate, deploy, and maintain machine learning and deep learning algorithms for biosignal-based medical devices. Responsibilities include data curation, algorithm experimentation, failure analysis, production support, documentation, testing, CI/CD, and stakeholder presentations. The role collaborates with data scientists, neuroscientists, engineers, clinicians, and clients to advance algorithms supporting sleep, neurological, psychiatric, and precision medicine applications.

Build and maintain React and TypeScript web applications for EEG analytics, clinical study management, and at-home patient diagnostics. Own user experience, performance, reliability, and observability while designing data-rich workflows and interactive visualizations. Collaborate asynchronously with product designers and cross-functional teams, contribute to roadmap direction, and develop scalable GraphQL consumers. The role involves supporting clinical operations, physician workflows, and diagnostic reporting.

Manages clinical study operations from startup through closeout, including site onboarding, training, communication, progress monitoring, issue resolution, and quality oversight. Partners with sponsors, project teams, and clinical sites to ensure timeline, protocol, GCP, ICH, and regulatory compliance. Coaches peers on documentation, version control, and complaint management while gathering site feedback to improve devices and workflows. This is a fully remote U.S. contract-to-hire role requiring up to 10% travel.

Provides technical leadership throughout the enterprise customer lifecycle, including discovery, solution design, demonstrations, proof-of-concept activities, implementation, integration, adoption, and expansion. Partners with Sales, Product, Engineering, Clinical, Support, and Operations; manages integration partners; translates customer requirements into scalable workflows; supports healthcare security and compliance approvals; develops dashboards, playbooks, documentation, and training; and communicates customer insights to product teams.

Own the full commercial contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiating, redlining, execution, renewals, and repository management. Negotiate pharma, biopharma, clinical trial, SaaS, licensing, device supply, vendor, and data agreements. Build and maintain React Native mobile apps and native iOS/Android BLE device SDKs for at-home EEG and wearable devices. Drive adoption of Beacon HST across the Midwest by creating pipeline, closing new and strategic accounts across sleep labs, IDTFs, and health systems. Translate EEG and cardiopulmonary differentiation into clinical value, execute product demonstrations and clinical validation, maintain CRM hygiene in Zoho, attend conferences, and partner cross-functionally to ensure onboarding, utilization, retention, and quota attainment while complying with HIPAA.

Lead development and deployment of biosignal-based ML/DL algorithms for at-home EEG and cardiopulmonary diagnostics. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, data curation and labeling, model development and validation, production deployment, testing/CI, documentation, stakeholder communication, and supporting client-facing projects in regulated health contexts.

Lead design, build, and scale of Beacon's Trial Site Network: set strategy and product vision, coordinate cross-functional teams, recruit and qualify sites, define commercial terms, manage institutional relationships, and measure network performance to support clinical trials and diagnostics.

Lead and grow a 6–10 person Analytics Systems team building Beacon's analytics platform: feature stores, pipelines, BI products, and integrations (including foundation models) to support clinical development and diagnostics. Own roadmap, product direction, engineering quality, project delivery, and cross-team stakeholder alignment in regulated life-sciences environments.
