Manages food product development programs from concept through commercialization. Leads R&D staff, guides formulation and specification development, oversees research, budgets, timelines, risks, and stage-gate decisions. Collaborates with production, quality, business development, account management, and vendors to develop innovative products, improve processes, and support customer needs. Requires strong food science, project management, technical problem-solving, coaching, and cross-functional communication skills.

Oversee plant financials, cost accounting, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, pricing, and financial controls. Partner with production, procurement, and supply chain teams to improve efficiency, manage inventory and costs, analyze variances, and increase plant profitability. Lead ERP usage, process improvements, risk management, operational dashboards, and development of the plant cost accounting team while supporting food safety and quality objectives.

Supports maintenance operations by managing MRO inventory, spare parts, tools, and supplies. Responsibilities include monitoring stock levels, conducting cycle counts, assisting with purchasing, tracking purchase orders, coordinating vendors, maintaining CMMS records, documenting material usage, and ensuring proper storage and safety compliance. The role collaborates with maintenance, production, and support teams to ensure parts availability and product quality.
