Manages knowledge exchange funding opportunities and application pipelines, identifies relevant public and private funding sources, writes and reviews proposals, ensures compliance with funder guidance, coordinates with academics and university units, and submits applications on schedule. The role supports university knowledge exchange objectives, strategic plans, and performance targets while building relationships with internal and external partners.

Manage information rights requests, data protection advice, incidents, complaints, records, retention, publication requirements, and regulatory enquiries. The role involves assessing evidence, making disclosure decisions, advising university colleagues, maintaining governance records, analyzing risk trends, delivering training, updating policies, and coordinating improvement activities while meeting statutory deadlines.

Manages strategic projects, organizational change, process improvements, and new ways of working across the university. Provides strategic support to senior academic leaders, oversees portfolio development processes and reporting, leads stakeholder communication, supports governance groups, and manages cross-university projects from initiation through completion. The role is hybrid in Bath with occasional travel to London and Birmingham.
