Provide direct support to 14–16-year-old learners in Alternative Provision, helping them engage with learning, develop wellbeing and positive behaviour, and access appropriate SEND support. Coordinate learner information and multi-agency support, liaise with families, schools and professionals, contribute to reviews and transition planning, and monitor attendance, engagement, progress and support needs. Work collaboratively with teaching, safeguarding and SEND teams to support successful progression into education, training or employment.

Provide impartial, inclusive careers and employability guidance to adult and 16–19 students, apprentices, external learners, and students with additional needs. Conduct individual and group guidance sessions across multiple channels, share education and employment progression information, use labour market data, support informed career decisions, signpost external services, and help students achieve positive destinations and improved retention.
