Provide accounting support to the College Finance team through accurate financial reporting, management accounting, financial analysis, compliance, and maintenance of strong financial controls. The role supports budget holders and senior leaders with financial insights, governance, audit activities, and decision-making. It also involves stakeholder management, financial modelling, and potentially VAT, statutory returns, education funding frameworks, reporting dashboards, and Access Financials.

Process supplier invoices, payments, and purchase ledger transactions; reconcile supplier statements, bank accounts, and control accounts; resolve invoice queries; support month-end and year-end processes; maintain accurate financial records and audit trails; and ensure compliance with financial regulations and procurement procedures. The role also involves working with suppliers, colleagues, and stakeholders to provide an efficient finance service.
