The Business Controller supports Basic-Fit’s DACH operations through financial and commercial analysis, business reviews, forecasting, management reporting, process improvements, and strategic projects. The role acts as a liaison between Finance and operational stakeholders, provides actionable insights, challenges business decisions, and supports regional expansion through organic growth and acquisitions.

Own the HRIS product roadmap and backlog, translating HR business requirements into technical specifications. Lead Agile ceremonies, stakeholder and vendor management, system architecture documentation, releases, testing, and platform optimization. The role supports Workday or comparable HRIS platforms across multiple European countries and partners with HR, IT, development teams, and third-party AMS providers.

Build and maintain highly scalable APIs, define service-level objectives, improve system architecture, contribute to frontend development, document designs, resolve complex bugs, shape the engineering roadmap, and co-own security, privacy, and performance. The role also involves helping teams adopt AI development tools and collaborating with engineers, product owners, designers, and delivery leads.

Own the architecture, scalability, maintainability, performance, and release stability of Basic-Fit’s mobile applications across iOS and Android. Collaborate with Product and Design to deliver high-quality mobile experiences, monitor crash rates, evaluate React Native ecosystem trends, improve release processes, and mentor developers. The role uses React Native and related technologies to support fitness applications serving millions of members across Europe.

Lead and support finance transformation initiatives across Order-to-Cash, Purchase-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report processes. Analyze and improve finance workflows, translate business requirements into process designs and change roadmaps, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, support acquired-company integrations, and drive continuous improvement across finance systems including SAP S/4HANA, SoftCo, and Lucanet.

Maintains general ledger transactions across international entities, prepares month-end journal entries, accruals, deferrals, reconciliations, and statutory reports. Supports audits, regulatory compliance, process improvements, documentation, ad hoc analysis, and strategic finance projects while collaborating with reporting, tax, receivables, payables, and business control teams.

As a Senior Backend Developer, you'll maintain and build APIs, define service objectives, support teams, contribute to engineering roadmaps, and focus on non-functional topics like security and performance.

As a Workday Application Consultant, you'll configure and implement Workday solutions, provide expert support, drive system optimization, and mentor peers.

Lead technical ownership of the Workday platform: configure Core HCM, Time & Absence, Scheduling, reporting, security, and integrations. Translate business requirements into scalable solutions, manage release cycles, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with HR, IT, Payroll, Finance and external partners to ensure data quality, compliance, and optimal user experience.

Coordinate design, installation, rollout and maintenance of remote surveillance and fire systems across clubs. Create floorplans and audio plans, perform post-installation quality checks, organize 24/7 openings, manage supplier maintenance coordination and stakeholder communication to ensure clubs remain safe and operational.

Serve as the link between HR and the Workday team: gather and translate HR requirements across countries, standardize Hire-to-Pay processes, decide local vs global solutions, track open issues, perform first-line testing, and lead implementation and training for local HR teams to drive adoption.

Implement and manage SAP finance applications (S/4HANA Public Cloud, SoftCo, LucaNet). Optimize finance processes (O2C, P2P, R2R), advise on implementations, support operations, drive continuous improvement, align stakeholders, and collaborate with integrations and application teams.

Provide legal advice and support for German and Austrian expansion, real estate, acquisitions, contracts, consumer and franchise matters. Draft and review commercial and lease agreements, identify risks, establish legal processes, and handle claims and litigation in coordination with international legal colleagues and the Clever Fit brand.

Design and build internal workflow-driven applications and tools end-to-end using low-code platforms, Postgres, SQL, JavaScript, and AI-assisted development. Work directly with stakeholders to map processes, model data, implement integrations and permissions, and deliver production-ready, secure, maintainable solutions.
