Own the full sales cycle for Baselayer’s AI risk platform, including prospecting, discovery, demos, pilots, negotiation, and closing. Build pipelines across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise accounts; lead consultative sales conversations; and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and GTM leadership. The role requires exceeding revenue targets, influencing technical and analytical buyers, and representing the company with credibility in fintech, fraud, risk, and financial services markets.

Build and maintain production ETL/ELT pipelines ingesting public records, web signals, and fraud telemetry. Develop data models and transformation layers using Dataflow, Spark, and Airflow; implement data quality, observability, and alerting; optimize warehouse performance, freshness, and cost; and collaborate with data science, ML, and product teams. Support security and regulatory standards for sensitive data, document systems, and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Serve as the founding Account Manager and trusted advisor for major financial institutions, payment providers, and fintech companies. Build executive relationships, understand customer workflows and pain points, drive upsells, renewals, and referrals, and collaborate with product and engineering to improve customer operations. Develop playbooks, feedback loops, and scalable processes for the account management and customer success function.

Provide technical consultation, solution design, API integration support, documentation, product demonstrations, customer training, and post-implementation guidance for identity verification solutions. Own and scale strategic partnerships from sourcing and negotiation through activation, enablement, and long-term growth. Build partner playbooks, training, collateral, and co-marketing initiatives; manage partner pipelines in HubSpot; coordinate co-selling and joint go-to-market activities; represent the company at events; align Sales, Product, Solutions, Marketing, and Engineering; and convert partner relationships into measurable leads, deals, and revenue.

Own end-to-end identity graph product features, including public-record ingestion, normalization, entity resolution, customer APIs, schema design, migrations, performance scaling, multi-tenancy, and access control. Build reliable systems for search, monitoring, webhooks, fraud detection, and KYC/KYB workflows while maintaining low latency under production load.

Build and operate the cryptographic identity substrate for AI agents, including credential issuance, OAuth token exchange, JWS verification, revocation, Merkle audit logs, Passport accounts, KYB onboarding, and operator integrations. Own identity claim formats and registries, implement high-performance HTTP-edge signature verification, and develop production systems across Python and Go. The role requires deep cryptography, identity, authorization, async Python, PostgreSQL, RFC, and observability expertise. It is based in San Francisco with four days per week in the office.

Own and scale strategic partnerships from sourcing through launch and growth. Build partner playbooks, enablement assets, co-marketing campaigns, and co-selling motions; manage partner pipelines in HubSpot; coordinate cross-functional launches; train partner sellers; represent Baselayer at events; gather feedback; and drive measurable pipeline and revenue impact. The role is based full-time in New York City with 10–20% travel.

Own Baselayer’s product strategy as its first dedicated Senior Product Manager. Define and scope zero-to-one products for new verticals, write PRDs and wireframes, prioritize the existing roadmap, and drive execution across engineering, design, sales, marketing, customer success, and growth. Lead launches from scope lock through general availability while operating with high ownership, technical fluency, and a strong bias toward shipping.
