Provides technical support across a 2D animation pipeline, troubleshooting DCC, scene, asset, file, and workflow issues. Supports artists using Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Animate, and Photoshop; improves workflows, develops tools and automation, documents technical processes, and collaborates with artists, supervisors, production, and technology teams.

Lead the Character Effects department by building Houdini workflows, tools, HDAs, templates, and simulation pipelines. Oversee cloth, hair, fur, skin, and muscle effects; troubleshoot complex simulations; mentor CFX artists; coordinate with Animation, Rigging, Groom, Lighting, FX, Pipeline, Production, and CG Supervision; and ensure high-quality, efficient, deadline-driven delivery.

Coordinates People Operations and production resourcing for animation teams, including crew capacity planning, onboarding, offboarding, HR administration, compliance tracking, performance and review coordination, contract extensions, HRIS auditing, and employee engagement support. The role partners closely with Production, Recruitment, IT, Payroll, artists, and leadership to maintain accurate records, address people-related issues, and support a positive employee experience.

Lead a storyboard team to translate a web comic and scripts into cinematic 2D storyboards and animatics. Define visual storytelling style, review and give creative feedback, collaborate with directors and producers, balance creative goals with production constraints, and establish scalable storyboard workflows and standards.

Lead the animation vision for an anime-inspired project, setting style and performance standards, guiding the animation team from pre-production to delivery, reviewing work, collaborating with storyboard and production leads, and establishing scalable workflows and quality standards.
