The VP of People will lead People operations and strategic HRBP functions for a remote-first, internationally expanding technology company. Maintain governance records and deadline-driven calendars while coordinating with attorneys, executives, auditors, outside counsel, Finance, and other stakeholders. Use legal technology and AI tools to improve recurring workflows.

Lead commercial, privacy, and product legal functions for a cloud technology company. Draft and negotiate enterprise SaaS, partnership, reseller, and other technology agreements; advise on global privacy, data protection, AI, intellectual property, and product development; build legal playbooks and scalable contracting processes; and partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, Security, Compliance, and executive teams. Manage, mentor, and develop legal professionals while overseeing complex transactions and regulatory risk.

Build and maintain open source AI integrations, frameworks, SDK extensions, notebooks, and example applications for Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage. Contribute to public repositories through coding, reviews, issue triage, testing, documentation, and maintenance. Use AI-assisted development tools while validating security, performance, and correctness. Collaborate with Product and QA to support real-world AI workflows and strong developer adoption.

Operate and maintain production database systems, primarily Vitess, MySQL, and Cassandra. Monitor reliability using SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and observability tools; participate in on-call incident response and post-incident reviews. Execute backup, recovery, replication, security, and performance-tuning procedures. Build automation with scripting, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD tools while supporting capacity planning, disaster recovery, documentation, and continuous operational improvements.

Own and scale ISV partnerships to make Backblaze B2 the default storage endpoint across backup, M&E, and data/AI ISVs. Manage integrations from certification to co-sell, produce joint technical assets, run partner program operations, and deliver partner-sourced pipeline and co-branded reference architectures to meet FY2026 OKRs.

Lead OEM and silicon partnerships to design Backblaze B2 into GPU and AI infrastructure stacks, close OEM/ODM deals, and deliver co-branded reference architectures that drive partner-influenced ARR and published analyst validation.

Lead post-sales and revenue analytics by integrating product telemetry, support signals, and revenue data. Build scalable data models, reusable datasets, and semantic layers. Define SaaS metrics, forecast revenue and usage, predict expansion and churn, and deliver dashboards and insights to drive renewals, expansion, and revenue growth.

Develop server-side APIs for user authentication and data management, utilizing AI-assisted tools while ensuring code quality and addressing customer issues at scale.

The Software Engineer III will design and maintain APIs for B2 and S3-compatible systems, enhance scalability, and develop observability tools. They will also engage in technical discussions and participate in an on-call rotation for incident response.

The Back-End Engineer will design and develop scalable services in a Java ecosystem, integrate AI tools, diagnose issues, and provide technical leadership.
