Manage and evaluate Employment Practices Liability (and some Fiduciary Liability) claims: investigate, determine coverage and valuation, develop litigation and settlement strategies, oversee external counsel, collaborate with insureds/brokers, assist underwriting with trend and risk analysis, maintain accurate claim records, and travel for mediations/trials.

Manage personal injury, property damage and medical malpractice claims for professional and commercial clients in the non-US Professional Lines Division. Lead claims from first notice to settlement, assess coverage and liability, set reserves, coordinate external counsel and TPAs, liaise with underwriters and stakeholders, and support Lloyd's Syndicate, IUA and company claims.

Lead development and implementation of the group's underwriting governance and execution framework. Provide oversight of underwriting strategy alignment, post-bind reviews, trend identification, and senior decision support using analytics and AI-enabled tools. Partner with underwriting, CUO, data, and technology teams to design strategies, produce executive materials, and drive governance improvements across the business.

Support and coordinate actuarial regulatory requirements for Lloyd's syndicates, calculate technical provisions and Solvency II standard formula, produce capital and SBF submissions, liaise with consultants, peer-review assumptions, assist GAAP reserving, communicate results to committees, and improve actuarial reporting and data processes.

Support Talent Development & Culture by operating and improving talent programs and processes across the employee lifecycle. Administer performance, goals, succession, learning, and engagement programs; coordinate Workday and HR technology testing and data validation; document processes and create SOPs; produce reports and dashboards to measure adoption and effectiveness; partner with HR Tech, People Analytics, vendors, and stakeholders to implement improvements and automate manual work.

Provide regulatory and compliance support across AXIS's UK operations: implement and monitor the Compliance Plan, advise on regulatory and financial crime matters, support SM&CR operations, engage with Lloyd's/PRA/FCA, assist regulatory returns and change projects, perform second-line monitoring, and prepare reports for senior management and boards.

Provide broad corporate legal support for governance, securities compliance, commercial contracts, treasury, IP, and sustainability initiatives. Prepare Board materials and SEC filings, advise senior management and business stakeholders, manage governance processes, and support equity, compensation, and financing transactions.

Prepare, submit, and track state insurance rate, rule, and form filings. Coordinate with underwriting, legal, actuarial and external vendors, respond to regulatory objections, monitor SERFF and FilingRamp, process reports and EFTs, and serve as primary contact for assigned filings.

Lead global claims management information and insights: set strategy, governance, and standards; own reporting to senior leadership and Board; drive data quality, automation, and transformation; partner with Actuarial and Data & Analytics; oversee regional leads and regulatory reporting; build a small global team and deliver decision-ready claims performance insights.

Handle cyber insurance claims from intake through resolution: analyze exposures, set reserves, validate coverage, prepare coverage positions, coordinate with insureds/attorneys/brokers, attend mediations/arbitrations, validate payments, and maintain accurate claim files and coding. Participate with underwriters and occasional travel as needed.

Support U.S., Canada, and Bermuda tax reporting, compliance, and provision work including ASC 740 and SSAP 101; consolidate global tax calculations; assist audits; manage withholding documentation; perform tax research; and improve processes and documentation to support management reporting and governance.

Review final loss adjuster reports for renewable assets, extract technical and financial details into a central Excel database, determine root causes of failures across wind, solar, BESS, hydro and power-to-X, perform quality control, and support beta testing and potential development of an AI extraction tool.

Lead the scientific approach for AI/ML solutions using LLMs and agentic systems: frame business problems, design models and evaluations, build and review production-grade code, own evaluation/monitoring, and drive responsible AI, standards, and mentorship across the team.

Lead development of reserving analytics by building dashboards, datasets, and self-service tools to surface trends and drivers. Partner with Reserving, Actuarial, Finance, Claims, Underwriting, and Data & Analytics to improve data quality, reduce manual work, promote responsible AI use, and present clear visualizations and governed metrics to support reserving decisions and senior stakeholders.

Manage complex Employment Practices Liability (EPL) and Fiduciary claims by investigating, evaluating coverage, determining valuation and settlement strategies, attending mediations/trials, drafting coverage correspondence, mentoring junior adjusters, supporting underwriting/actuarial analytics, controlling litigation costs, and maintaining claim records and relationships with brokers, insureds, and counsel.

Support global ceded reinsurance processing and accounting, maintain processing calendar, enter contracts, run monthly/quarterly calculations, document processes, support system enhancements and UAT, manage data requests and audits, transition work offshore, and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and controls.

Support AXIS quarterly reserving process: produce reserving estimates, peer-review product line analyses, validate actuarial estimates, support reserve meetings, develop diagnostics/reports, assist in deep-dive projects and annual planning, and provide cross-functional support to Finance, Risk, and Investments.

Lead a multidisciplinary analytics team to deliver BI, advanced analytics, data science, and AI solutions that drive measurable business outcomes across underwriting, claims, finance, and operations. Define strategy, ensure fit-for-purpose model development and governance, foster stakeholder adoption, and modernize analytics capabilities while managing team performance and delivery.

Support and operate Azure-based data platforms (Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Databricks, SQL), monitor performance, handle incidents, automate operational tasks, manage environment promotions and capacity, and collaborate with engineering, cloud, and business teams to ensure reliable, secure, and cost-effective data and AI operations.
