Interprets engineering drawings, technical requirements, and production methods to create accurate manufacturing documentation. Collaborates with engineers, technicians, managers, and subject matter experts while supporting project schedules, quality objectives, and critical milestones.

Leads full-cycle recruitment for aerospace engineering, manufacturing, technical, operations, and corporate roles. Develops sourcing strategies for specialized talent, builds candidate pipelines, partners with hiring managers, conducts screenings, ensures hiring compliance, supports employer branding, analyzes recruiting metrics, and improves talent acquisition processes. Represents the company at industry events and applies modern recruiting and agile project management practices.

Designs, analyzes, and implements guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for spacecraft and aerospace vehicles. Develops control laws, dynamic models, simulations, and Monte Carlo analyses; integrates flight-ready software with embedded systems; and performs SIL, HIL, verification, and validation testing. Collaborates across propulsion, avionics, structures, and mission operations teams, supports anomaly resolution and design reviews, and provides technical leadership on GNC sub-projects.

Creates and delivers video and photo content for social media, events, leadership, and external clients. Responsibilities include concept development, filming, photography, editing, archiving, storytelling, project coordination, vendor and production-team management, site-visit coordination, clearance management, and real-time problem-solving. The role supports sensitive aerospace-related projects involving government and international stakeholders, requires rapid turnaround, and maintains compliance with export-control and proprietary-information requirements.

Leads software integration across all Axiom Station elements, coordinating engineering, systems integration, testing, releases, schedules, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication. Develops integration strategies, plans, architecture diagrams, ICDs, risk registers, and status reports while resolving compatibility issues and supporting system-level validation. This individual contributor orchestrates software delivery, facilitates technical decisions, escalates risks, and reports progress to program leadership.

Owns the quantitative and process backbone of Axiom Space’s software programs. Responsibilities include managing CMMI metrics and evidence, maintaining integrated master schedules, implementing agile practices, tracking requirements and interfaces, coordinating software releases and qualification testing, communicating status and risks, and supporting MBSE traceability, training, and safety assurance activities.

Supports Axiom Space’s in-house Legal team with commercial contract drafting and review, regulatory research, government contracting matters, compliance tracking, corporate governance documentation, intellectual property and privacy research, and legal department process improvement. The onsite summer internship runs June 1 through August 20 in Houston and requires strong legal research, writing, organization, communication, and analytical skills.

Supports Axiom Space’s communications and marketing team by creating social media content, one-pagers, fact sheets, presentations, scripts, newsletters, and digital updates. Tracks news, industry trends, engagement metrics, and competitor activity; contributes to webcasts and video content; and maintains accurate, on-brand website and social content. This onsite, project-based internship runs June 1 through August 20 in Houston, Texas.

Software Engineering Intern supporting the design, development, testing, debugging, documentation, and automation of software for spaceflight hardware and ground systems. Assignments may involve embedded or flight software, ground tools, or simulation and modeling. The intern will write and test code, participate in code reviews, support CI/CD, collaborate with engineering teams, and communicate project progress. This is an onsite, temporary internship in Houston from June 1 through August 20, 2027.

Supports procurement and material-planning activities through purchasing data compilation, spend and supplier analysis, lead-time and open-order tracking, report and dashboard improvements, supplier follow-ups, process documentation, and alignment between material planning outputs and integrated master schedules. The intern will identify risks and improvement opportunities, assist with process implementation, and present findings to cross-functional teams onsite in Houston.

Supports systems engineering for spaceflight hardware and ground systems, including requirements definition, interface management, architecture development, verification and validation planning, trade studies, documentation, and testing. Collaborates with cross-functional engineering teams, communicates project status, and applies agile methodologies. This onsite, project-based internship runs June 1 through August 20, 2027, in Houston, Texas.

Serves as a senior HR business partner to business leaders while owning enterprise HR process excellence. Advises on employee relations, performance, organizational design, talent strategy, compliance, and workforce planning. Leads HR process redesign, Workday and system enablement, cross-functional projects, change initiatives, and organizational effectiveness efforts. Manages project plans, risks, budgets, timelines, stakeholder communications, and deliverables while partnering with HR centers of excellence and business functions.

Supports corporate travel administration, travel training, accounts payable, executive expense review, purchase requisitions, monthly card reconciliation, reporting, and month-end close. Maintains travel workflows and policies, develops user documentation, trains employees, reviews invoices and expenses for accuracy and compliance, and handles confidential financial information while collaborating with finance leaders and office management.

Own the spacecraft station’s grounding and bonding architecture, including electrical reference design, isolation requirements, bonding classes, shielding, fault behavior, external interfaces, and electrostatic discharge control. Define requirements, flow them to suppliers, review designs and test data, manage verification evidence, resolve technical issues, and mentor engineers. The role requires extensive grounding and bonding architecture experience, aerospace standards knowledge, supplier oversight, and qualification of real hardware.

Maintain the Electrical Power System portion of the Integrated Master Schedule, including logic, milestones, forecasts, critical path, and baseline variance. Track actions, risks, interfaces, supplier deliverables, procurement, facilities, and test readiness. Support supplier coordination, interface documentation, certification packages, configuration control, and major program reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, and MRR. Coordinate across engineering, suppliers, laboratories, and customers while escalating schedule and technical issues early.

Owns Electrical Power System integration planning for Axiom Station, including the Integrated Master Schedule, critical path, risks, long-lead procurement, gate readiness, requirements traceability, supplier coordination, testing infrastructure, and mission operations integration. Coordinates subsystem interfaces, customer and ISS Program interactions, technical reviews, and certification activities while mentoring junior staff and communicating schedule and technical status to leadership.

Own the spacecraft electromagnetic compatibility program, including EMC requirements, standards tailoring, verification planning, supplier oversight, testing, failure disposition, cable and shielding practices, emissions mitigation, ESD control, and magnetic and high-voltage assessments. Maintain verification evidence, present technical status to customers and review boards, support NASA and international partners, and mentor junior engineers. The role requires extensive hands-on MIL-STD-461 experience and ownership of an EMC program through vehicle qualification.
