Conduct site and equipment inspections, accident investigations, and safety surveys; audit physical conditions and safe work practices; provide first-response medical aid; operate and calibrate air-monitoring equipment; respond to small HAZMAT spills and incipient fires; complete inspection programs and safety paperwork; recommend corrective actions and support HS&E compliance.

Manage and direct electrical engineering team for naval ship design and construction. Assign and check design calculations and drawings, progress department work, liaise with production, suppliers, customers and regulators, and ensure compliance with maritime standards and schedules.

Develop and check 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models for shipbuilding projects. Lead and review work of CAD drafters and Designer I, interface with production and multidisciplinary teams, and ensure designs meet schedules and standards.
