Leads mission operations and systems integration engineering for GPS IIIF space programs. Responsibilities include space-to-ground integration, mission readiness test planning and execution, integrated schedules and plans, decision briefings, risk management, cross-functional coordination, launch planning, satellite operations, and systems engineering documentation. The role supports government and contractor stakeholders and requires Secret clearance, with Top Secret preferred.

Leads systems engineering and integration for spacecraft platforms and payloads supporting national security missions. Defines requirements and architectures, plans integration and testing, supports major design and readiness reviews, manages risks and opportunities, and verifies system performance. Collaborates with government and contractor teams to align technical, schedule, and mission objectives throughout the system lifecycle. Requires active Secret clearance and experience with space vehicle systems engineering, DoD acquisition processes, requirements verification, and mission assurance.

Designs, evaluates, and supports secure terrestrial enterprise networks for space-based systems. Responsibilities include network architecture, systems engineering, requirements development, design reviews, cybersecurity risk assessment, testing and verification, configuration management, technical documentation, acquisition support, integration, troubleshooting, and coordination across contractors, facilities teams, and geographically distributed sites. Travel to developer and customer locations is required.

Support development, verification, and testing of ground support equipment (mechanical or electrical) for launch vehicle operations. Create and manage requirements, perform system analysis (FMEA/Fishbone), collaborate with GSE design teams, ensure safety and quality compliance, support integration, and participate in design reviews and testing.

Develop and maintain SysML and MBSE system models for advanced aerospace and missile systems. Define architectures, requirements, behaviors, interfaces, and verification relationships; connect system models to simulation environments; support trade studies, prototype hardware development, integration, ground testing, and flight testing. Collaborate with GNC, software, electrical, mechanical, propulsion, test, and other engineering teams to identify design risks and support technical decisions.

Leads developmental test, verification, validation, and system integration for strategic satellite communications systems. Plans and executes test activities, translates requirements into test objectives and acceptance criteria, develops test plans and verification reports, supports readiness reviews and space-to-ground testing, manages deficiencies, and collaborates with government, FFRDC, and contractor stakeholders.

Leads CFD simulations for fluid flow, heat transfer, and multiphase systems; develops computational models, prepares geometry and meshes, configures solvers, validates results against experimental data, and collaborates with design engineers to optimize aerospace and defense components. Documents methodologies and recommendations in client-ready reports while considering performance, manufacturability, cost, sustainability, and industry compliance.

Designs and optimizes aerospace vehicle trajectories and GNC algorithms for launch, re-entry, and intercept missions. Performs simulation, Monte Carlo analysis, sensitivity studies, and flight-test prediction and analysis. Integrates solutions into hardware- and software-in-the-loop environments while collaborating with systems, propulsion, and avionics teams to validate mission requirements and support mission planning.

Lead spacecraft attitude control systems engineering: develop and verify ACS architectures, control algorithms, and astrodynamics analyses; review contractor designs, support integration, testing, launch and on-orbit activities, attend design and program reviews, and advise on accommodation and risk mitigation. Requires active TS/SCI with Polygraph and extensive hands-on ACS expertise.

Design and develop circuit card assemblies and printed wiring boards from concept through production release. Create schematics, layouts, and documentation; select components; perform signal integrity and power distribution analysis; and ensure compliance with IPC, EMI/EMC, military, and aerospace requirements. Collaborate across engineering teams, oversee prototypes, conduct design reviews, and troubleshoot integration and testing. Support high-reliability electronics through manufacturability, testability, and production considerations.

The COMSEC Test Engineer tests and integrates encryption systems for space and terrestrial networks while ensuring operational readiness through configuration, troubleshooting, and functional validation.
