Leads daily laboratory testing operations and staff for asphalt, soil, aggregate, and concrete programs. Develops mix designs, testing schedules, and client reports; troubleshoots equipment and testing issues; coordinates personnel and resources; maintains AMRL and CCRL accreditations; calibrates equipment; enforces safety and quality systems; communicates with clients; and supports compliance with ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, and CDOT standards.

Manages construction materials testing and inspection projects from proposal through completion. Responsibilities include material takeoffs, cost and feasibility analysis, report and specification preparation, site inspections, quality assurance and quality control, IBC Chapter 17 special inspections, technician training, and coordination with clients and contractors. The role supports project scope, schedules, budgets, safety, and quality objectives while addressing office, laboratory, and field needs.

Leads the laboratory Quality Management System for construction materials testing, overseeing QA/QC reviews, audits, corrective actions, accreditation compliance, standardized procedures, technician training, and report accuracy. Manages AMRL, AASHTO, CCRL, and state DOT accreditation processes, supports testing operations and project administration, and serves as backup to the Lab Manager.

Perform and support construction materials testing projects across Ohio: consult with clients and staff, evaluate data, research materials and methods, provide written recommendations, mentor field staff, ensure quality and timely engineering deliverables, and coordinate with project teams under PE supervision.

Lead regional business development for Atlass South-Central Infrastructure division (TN, AL, LA), driving sales strategy, pipeline growth, key account management, capture planning, pursuits, market intelligence, KPIs, CRM tracking, events, and strategic hiring to expand a $30M book of business.

Manage daily operations for third-party construction materials testing and inspection across multiple regions: scheduling, staffing, invoice review, accreditation, training, client relations, and field support when certified.

Lead and deliver complex transit facility projects and programs from planning through construction, commissioning, operations, and maintenance. Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, compliance with federal/state regulations, safety and security certification, client/stakeholder coordination, multidisciplinary teams, and support business development and technical standards for northeastern Illinois transit clients.

Lead Civil 3D design and CADD operations, develop Civil 3D styles and tools, provide first- through third-line technical support, supervise drafting staff, advise on hardware/software, manage model/data/document workflows, and support client and contractor coordination.

Manage construction project administration including document control, RFIs, submittals, issue tracking, daily field report review, technical support, and quality assurance to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.

Perform traffic impact and capacity analyses, develop and review signal timing and design plans, run traffic operations models (Synchro, HCS, VISSIM), conduct multimodal evaluations, and prepare technical reports and design documentation.

Manage GDOT transportation projects: apply project management tools, track progress and budgets, implement GDOT systems/policies, coordinate with stakeholders, and produce documentation. Use Microsoft Office platforms, perform occasional local travel, and work primarily on-site with limited hybrid flexibility.

Process and reconcile bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payroll; apply deductions, overtime, bonuses, and other pay variables; maintain payroll records and tax reporting (W-2s, 1099s); respond to employee payroll inquiries; ensure compliance with payroll laws and company policy.

Perform basic roadway geometric design tasks, prepare layout drawings, construction details, calculations, and reports under supervision of a registered professional engineer. Ensure designs meet regulatory standards and develop project knowledge through training and mentorship.
