Responsibilities include integrating chemistry, surface science, microfluidics, software, and hardware; translating assays to automated instruments; troubleshooting failure modes; optimizing workflow robustness; analyzing experimental data; transferring technology toward products; and mentoring junior scientists and engineers.

Architect and optimize distributed encoding and decoding pipelines across CPU and GPU platforms. Develop high-throughput, resource-efficient data processing systems, applying systems programming, parallel computing, concurrency, memory management, and hardware optimization. Collaborate with software and bioinformatics teams to integrate these pipelines into AtlasBase’s molecular computing and data storage ecosystem.

Lead AtlasBase People function as a strategic, hands-on partner to executives. Build organizational design, compensation and benefits, HRIS, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and culture programs to scale a venture-backed, high-growth biotech-tech company.

Lead design, development, and optimization of electrochemical CMOS sensors and workflows. Develop acid-generation solutions from CMOS electrodes, run advanced electrochemical characterization, analyze data for sensor optimization, communicate results to stakeholders, and mentor junior scientists in cross-functional teams.

Hands-on, bench-intensive role to design and run high-throughput experiments characterizing electrochemical reactions at micro-electrode interfaces, develop electrochemical methodologies for high-density arrays, implement surface passivation to prevent fouling, collaborate with protein biochemists, microfluidics and CMOS engineers, and document and present R&D findings to technical leadership.

Lead accounting function for a high-growth startup: manage GL/AP/AR/payroll, month-end close, GAAP-compliant financial statements, internal controls, cash forecasting, audits, accounting systems, financial modeling, cross-functional costing, and board/investor reporting.
