Lead end-to-end design and validation of autonomous interceptor airframes, covering performance trade studies, aerodynamics, structures, thermal and power systems, vibration, CAD, prototyping, testing, and flight validation. Integrate rotorcraft, GNC, perception, electrical, and manufacturing subsystems. Develop CFD and structural analysis tooling, use flight data to refine designs, and eventually lead a small airframe engineering team.

Own the mechanical architecture, design, prototyping, testing, and flight validation of autonomous UAS interceptor airframes and mechanisms. Design structures, linkages, hinges, latches, flexures, deployables, subsystem packaging, fixtures, and manufacturable hardware. Perform FEA, structural analysis, tolerance stackups, and failure analysis. Collaborate with aerodynamics, GNC, perception, electrical, rotorcraft, and manufacturing teams to integrate rugged, flight-proven vehicles through rapid build-test-iterate cycles.
