Askari Defense is an Atlanta-based defense technology company that develops low-cost, intelligent, fully-autonomous kinetic intercept systems to counter hostile drones and robotic threats. Founded by Robbie van Zyl, Benjamin Airdo, and Marc van Zyl out of Georgia Tech's CREATE-X ecosystem, the company builds deployable interceptors such as its 3D-printed RIFT systems, working with customers including the Department of Homeland Security, SOCOM, the U.S. Army, Navy, and Customs & Border Protection. Its mission is to make every hostile robot a bad investment.
