Represent immigrant and low-wage workers through strategic litigation, direct legal services, policy advocacy, and community partnership. Develop impact litigation and class actions, support worker-led campaigns, provide court and administrative representation, collaborate on communications and outreach, and participate in community education. Senior-level hires will exercise greater leadership and independence.

Lead and coordinate day-to-day nonprofit accounting operations, oversee monthly close, review external bookkeeping, manage grant and fund accounting, prepare financial reports and audit schedules, support budgeting and internal controls, and ensure compliance with GAAP and funder requirements.

Lead day-to-day office, facilities, vendor and IT/vendor-managed technology operations for a hybrid San Francisco office. Translate strategic priorities into operational plans, improve workflows and systems, manage procurement, contracts, insurance, and risk planning, train staff on tools, and support cross-functional projects with the COO to increase organizational efficiency and compliance.

Lead development and grow ALC’s individual giving program by cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors; building statewide/national fundraising strategies; managing donor systems and gift processing; supporting events and communications; and supervising development staff to increase revenue and sustain organizational growth.

Lead and improve internal legal operations and program support across intake, case management, compliance, pro bono programs, and staff supervision. Build systems, ensure quality and reporting, support attorneys, manage volunteers, and align legal services with organizational priorities.
