Supports Business Advisors serving small businesses through outreach, bilingual interpretation, client intake, scheduling, follow-ups, loan application preparation, Salesforce data entry, reporting, workshop materials, and market research. The intern will shadow advisors while gaining experience in small business counseling, lending processes, financial education, and community development. This is a part-time or summer full-time, on-site internship in New York City requiring fluency in Tagalog, Thai, or Vietnamese and occasional travel across NYC boroughs.

Build relationships with small businesses and community partners, generate loan applicant pipelines, pre-screen applications, package loans for underwriting, provide business coaching, and monitor small business loan portfolios. The role includes outreach, financial counseling, site visits, workshops, client relationship management, Salesforce recordkeeping, and travel across Flushing, Long Island, and Westchester County. Fluency in English and Korean is required, with initial onsite training followed by a hybrid work model.

Provides Mandarin-English interpretation during meetings and workshops, maintains client records, and assists with community resource gathering. The role offers hands-on exposure to small business counseling, lending processes, financial education, and community economic development.

Provides counseling, financial guidance, and loan application support to Spanish- and English-speaking small business owners. Manages a small business loan portfolio, conducts site visits, leads educational workshops, maintains Salesforce records, and develops community partnerships and referral opportunities. Supports entrepreneurs across New York City and surrounding regions through outreach, business coaching, and access to capital.

Conduct community outreach to promote small business education, technical assistance, and microloan programs. Build relationships with entrepreneurs, community partners, and referral organizations; represent the organization at events; recruit and enroll participants; deliver presentations; support workshops; create outreach communications; track engagement metrics; and maintain CRM records.

The intern will assist with community engagement, financial education, and small business counseling while gaining experience in CDFI lending and economic development. The role is part-time during the semester, with a full-time summer option, and requires on-site work in New York City with occasional travel to other boroughs.

Advises Mandarin- and English-speaking small business owners on financials, cash flow, growth strategies, and access to capital. Builds client and community relationships, prepares loan applications, manages funded loan portfolios, conducts site visits, leads entrepreneur workshops, maintains Salesforce records, and supports outreach across New York City.
