Supports Business Advisors serving small businesses through outreach, bilingual interpretation, client intake, scheduling, follow-ups, loan application preparation, Salesforce data entry, reporting, workshop materials, and market research. The intern will shadow advisors while gaining experience in small business counseling, lending processes, financial education, and community development. This is a part-time or summer full-time, on-site internship in New York City requiring fluency in Tagalog, Thai, or Vietnamese and occasional travel across NYC boroughs.

Build relationships with small businesses and community partners, generate loan applicant pipelines, pre-screen applications, package loans for underwriting, provide business coaching, and monitor small business loan portfolios. The role includes outreach, financial counseling, site visits, workshops, client relationship management, Salesforce recordkeeping, and travel across Flushing, Long Island, and Westchester County. Fluency in English and Korean is required, with initial onsite training followed by a hybrid work model.

Provides Mandarin-English interpretation during meetings and workshops, maintains client records, and assists with community resource gathering.
